Hepburn's exquisite garden oasis

At Hepburn at Hepburn, leading landscape designer Jack Merlo has created a contemporary retreat that sits quietly within the surrounding bushland.

Ornamental species create bold, sculptural forms around the villas, gradually giving way to plants indigenous to the Hepburn Springs region. Jack has used strong geometric lines and a restrained materials palette of dark stone and timber to complement the villas' clean, modern architecture. The result is gardens that are as exquisite as the villas themselves.

“Most important was that the landscape sit comfortably in the beautiful natural setting of Hepburn Springs,” Jack explains.

“The Daylesford/Hepburn Springs region is an idyllic place for a getaway retreat and Hepburn at Hepburn will set a new standard in design and amenity not seen elsewhere in the region.”

Jack, who is frequently an architect's designer of choice, worked closely with David Edelman Architects to realise the vision of Hepburn at Hepburn.
